I stopped romanticizing about New York City the moment I woke up. No, it was not me who stopped. I should say it was my hangover. Damn that Cranberry Vodka! Thank you, Advil! Hahahahahaha!!!
Waking up engulfed in a sea of softness courtesy of Gansevoort Hotel's bed was just priceless. I did not want to get out of it. In fact, I was even the last one to take a shower and get ready for the day.
After a short photo shoot at the pool area, we went straight to Shake Shack at the Madison Square Park for lunch. I've heard that its a must try when visiting the East Coast. Like every big city, parking is a luxury. You have to go round and round the area to find the closest and best parking spots. I find it a big game of chance. You'll never know what you'll get and you'll never know when you'll get it.
Very chic revolving hotel entrance door of Gansevoort Hotel.
The rooftop lounge that witnessed it all the night before.
The city can look so peaceful on a Sunday morning.

On our way to the Flatiron District, we got lost. But it was fine because I was able to take a glimpse of the Brooklyn Bridge.
We finally found our way to the Flatiron District made popular by the Flatiron Building built in 1902.
The Flatiron Building used to be the face of New York until the Empire State Building started to gain popularity.
I think I have dressed the part of a struggling and starving NYC model by looking so thin on this outfit. But not for too long because I was up for an east coast treat by way of Shake Shack!
VitoriVita (me), Jose, Nhover and Jen falling in line for our orders.
This store is the mother of all Shake Shacks in NYC. It was constructed in 2004 at the Madison Square Park. No wonder why people are really falling in line for this place.
This has got to be a feast - a burger feast!
And because I felt that I was going to be hungry at any given time. We bought some for our trip to New Jersey!
Until this very moment, I do not know why I did this pose. Very retro, I must say but it somehow works.

It was a pretty hot day and we had to rush for my best friend's wedding rehearsal in New Jersey.
While walking around, I spotted some beautiful buildings around NYC and my camera was very quick to take photos. Like it has its own mind.
New York City surprises me. Some places look very familiar. Some look so new you just want to stare at it for a good number of minutes so your eyes can feast on it. It has been the 2nd day of my "no data service" days and I did quite well. I had enough time to live on that specific moment without having to deal with the social media and the internet.
On the same day, was the wedding rehearsal for my best friend's wedding so off we go to - New Jersey!
Stay tuned for my next destination.
