Its been a while since my last blog post and its all because of my trip to Mexico City. I was very anxious and busy and worried with all the preparations I had to make for a safe and smooth trip down Central America.
Sorry. This post is not about Mexico City yet. This is about my 4th day in the United States of America. I wanted to share it with you guys through my recently launched YouTube Channel, VitoriVitaCom. I just thought maybe it would be a great idea to actually venture out on video editing. So you will have to bear with how amateur-ish the video might look like to you. This is just my first attempt at vlogging. Taking inspiration from the likes of famous vloggers like Heart Defensor and the High On Life Canadian boys. I'm nowhere close to how they do it yet but we'll surely get there. Right?
Here's Part 1 of Day 4! Enjoy the video!
We left for Washington, D.C. a little later in the afternoon because the soon-to-be-married lovebirds had some errands they had to accomplish in the morning. It was also the best time for me to enjoy some more time in bed. The past days have been very hectic and we were always in a hurry.
It was a long drive from Toms River, NJ to Washington, DC. Probably took us 5 hours to reach the destination. Along the way, we had a number for stopovers for chips, coffee and the need to address the after effect of coffee - the washroom! Hahahahahaha!!! Getting out of the car after sitting for a long time is always a relief. The secret is to stretch and do more stretches whenever you get the chance. It also helped that we rode a Chevrolet Suburban. The long drive was a lot bearable because of its comfy seats.

Lunch with The Torres family, our gracious hosts while in New Jersey
If you have been following my Great American Adventure series, we've explored some of the hippest New York areas and we have discovered albeit common knowledge to all that the Big Apple is such a beautiful mayhem.
I could have stayed a little longer in New York and met up with other friends but I have best friend duties to fulfill. We all drove (And I rode!) to Hillsborough, New Jersey for my best friend's wedding rehearsal at Royce Brook Golf Club. This was supposedly her wedding venue but at the last minute changed her mind. The bride-to-be mentioned about finding a venue that was more her style and exactly what she wanted to book for her wedding.
Royce Brook Golf Club looked gorgeous too. I would have picked it for myself because the place looked so relaxing and peaceful. I felt like a spoiled daughter of an aristocrat from the 1900's where afternoon tea was necessary. It was very convenient too that its just an hour drive away from New York City. It just took us a little longer because we had one too many stops as we had to refill our energy banks with caffeine from Starbucks once every 20 minutes. I should have known that it was going to be the story of my life in the next few days.
I finally met some of my best friend's closest friends from Toms River, New Jersey. As well as the groom's family. They were the kindest. Unmatched Filipino hospitality at its best.
We had desserts and went to Toms River as soon as the rehearsal was over.
I was eager to nurse my overused feet and lie down on my comfortable bed. Ahhhh! This bed was everything!
Stay tuned for Day 3 of The Great American Adventure series brought to you by yours truly, VitoriVita!
